Thermal Liner
Thermal Liner is a thermally insulated bag designed to protect goods from sudden changes in temperature, humidity, ultraviolet and infrared rays, gases and odours.
It is an isothermal container insulator, ideal for transporting goods susceptible to water damage such as packaged liquids, chemicals, electrical and electronic equipment.
Thermal Liner can be found in our catalogue in three sizes, specifically designed for the Dry 20′, Dry 40′ and High Cube 40′ shipping containers. In addition, each is available in two models: 5-sided without floor or 6-sided with floor.
Isothermal insulation to protect sea containers
Condensation is one of the biggest problems faced by importers and exporters. Ship holds are cold and damp compartments; when the temperature of the container walls is lower than that of the air inside, dew is generated which can render the cargo unusable.
Effective thermal protection of the container is required to prevent damage such as deterioration of cellulose packaging, corrosion of metal elements or the formation of mould and mildew.
At Tm2 we are committed to Thermal Liner, a truly effective barrier against condensation. Using this isothermal insulation to insulate the sea container in export operations helps to make every shipment more profitable.
How is Thermal Liner installed?
One of the strongest points of this product is the ease with which it can be used to insulate a sea container. It can be installed by a single person in less than 5 minutes with optimum results guaranteed.
Thermal Liner is equipped with a system of straps that are attached directly to the container walls. Zips are incorporated into the flaps to further ensure the efficiency of the insulation. With these elements it becomes a more resistant insulation system for sea containers than those that are fixed with double-sided tape.
In these videos you can see two examples of the easy assembly system.
